When I think about the work we do as members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., I think about legacy. I think about the women who came before us—strong, visionary, and committed—and I think about the responsibility we carry to continue that tradition with integrity, purpose, and grace.
It is with that sense of responsibility that I humbly announce my candidacy for Recording Secretary of the Queens Alumnae Chapter.
This role is more than just capturing minutes; it’s about preserving our story—accurately, thoughtfully, and with care. It’s about making sure that every voice in the room is reflected, every action documented, and that we as a chapter remain aligned with our goals, grounded in our mission, and prepared for what lies ahead.
Throughout my professional and Delta life, I’ve built a reputation for being reliable, organized, and clear in communication. I believe in doing the work—quietly when needed, confidently when called—and I understand that service is not about spotlight, but about stewardship. I am ready to serve not only with competence, but with heart.
This chapter, this sisterhood—it means something. And it would be the honor of my Delta journey thus far to contribute to its continued excellence in this role.
Thank you for your time, your trust, and your unwavering commitment to Delta.
